The Story Behind 30-30
The name Tequila 30-30 originates from the legendary Winchester rifle — an icon of the Mexican people's fight during the Mexican Revolution and the Revolución Cristera. It is the only rifle to have inspired a traditional Mexican folk song, making it a symbol deeply woven into the country's history and identity.
The Process
From the red soil of Los Altos to your glass.
The Agave
Blue Weber Agave grown in Los Altos de Jalisco yields higher sugar concentrations. Each plant patiently matures for up to 8 years before harvest.
The Jima
Jimadores hand-shave every leaf to expose the pristine piña, which is then specifically chopped and carefully loaded into the ovens.
Cooking
Piñas are slowly roasted in massive 23,000 kg capacity ovens for 14 straight hours, then finely ground and continuously pressed to extract the rich juices.
Fermentation
The sweet juices are fermented in stainless steel tanks for approximately 80 hours at 95°F with water, yeast, and natural nutrients.
Distillation
Expertly double-distilled in 3,500-liter stainless steel stills. Only the absolute purest heart of each distillation is kept, discarding heads and tails.
Cask Aging
Patiently aged in certified White Oak barrels. Every single barrel is individually sealed and strictly supervised by the Consejo Regulador del Tequila (CRT) to guarantee integrity.
